Through simple exercises which can be used at any time, we can learn to calm the mind and become more step out of the usual cycle of stress. This helps us meet modern life with equanimity and compassion for ourselves and others. The practices are based on fundamental teachings from the Buddhist tradition, but presented in a modern-day context. We welcome newcomers and experienced meditators alike. This Autumn we will be focusing on how to use our practice at work, to make the workplace happier and more productive. The evenings will focus on a series of simple guided meditation techniques which are practised either sitting or through movement. Central to the practice is using the breath to help develop mindfulness.
